Carpenter Road construction project
Yosemite Rivers Alliance is requesting bids for a floodplain restoration project on the lower Tuolumne River near Modesto, CA planned for late Summer 2026. The project aims to benefit fall-run Chinook Salmon and O. mykiss by increasing the extent of available floodplain rearing habitat on the Lower Tuolumne River.
The actions of the Project are expected to include, but not be limited to, the construction of low and high floodplain habitat, excavation of a fish passage channel that connects to the mainstem Tuolumne River, installation of an articulated concrete erosion control system for the road crossing at the inlet channel, and native vegetation planting and irrigation.
Important Dates
Optional pre-bid site tour on February 24th at 10am
Bids are due by the end of the day on March 13th
Questions are due by the end of the day March 9th
